Staffing and Supervision
Jessie’s Place is led by a Service Manager (Nominated Supervisor), supported by a 2IC, Educational Leader, Early Childhood Teachers, qualified educators, and additional support staff.
This leadership structure supports effective governance, compliance with legislative requirements, and high-quality education and care for all children.
Staffing Arrangements
Jessie’s Place employs qualified and experienced educators who build warm, respectful, and nurturing relationships with children.
Educator-to-child ratios are maintained at all times in accordance with legislative requirements. Staffing arrangements are planned to support continuity of care, effective supervision, and children’s safety and wellbeing throughout the day.
Educators work collaboratively with the Educational Leader to plan and deliver engaging educational programs that reflect children’s interests, strengths, and developmental needs.
“Children may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.”

Educators That Learn & Lead
Our educators are the heart of Jessie’s Place. We value their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to reflective practice, continuous improvement, and ethical decision-making.
Educators are supported through ongoing professional learning, mentoring, and collaborative practice to deliver high-quality education and care aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF v2.0) and the National Quality Standard. We encourage educators to take on leadership roles within the service, advocate for children’s rights, and uphold the highest standards of child safety, wellbeing, and inclusion.
We believe a positive, respectful workplace culture is essential to quality outcomes for children. When educators feel supported, valued, and empowered, they are better able to build strong relationships with children and families, respond thoughtfully to children’s needs, and create environments where children feel safe, confident, and supported to learn.

Workplace Culture
At Jessie’s Place, we foster a positive, supportive, and respectful workplace where educators feel valued and enjoy coming to work each day. We believe great outcomes for children start with a strong team culture — built on collaboration, open communication, and shared responsibility.
When educators feel supported and confident in their roles, they are able to build meaningful relationships and deliver high-quality care.
